Looking to accomplish something meaningful in honor of her bat mitzvah, Ava connected with The Next Step, an organization that helps Israeli amputees gain access to state of the art prosthetics. It was Ava's idea to create a platform where kids can help kids get the best prosthetics available, and start to lead better lives. Kids 4 limbs allows kids to start their own fundraisers, and bring meaning to their everyday lives.
Kids 4 Limbs is a program of The Next Step. The Next Step, is an Israeli nonprofit organization that raises awareness of limb-loss and prosthetics, provides access to high-end prosthetics not covered by the Ministry of Health, and offers technical and emotional support to amputees. Services are carried out by volunteers - some amputees themselves - who pass on their knowledge and experience, and provide support to others.
